Ain't No Food Upon the Table, You Hear the Same Old Thing
This article from Guy Kawasaki's blog, while presented in the context of entrepreneurs, seems especially applicable to schools in impoverished communities, and I suppose many elements of these communities in general (i.e. incarceration, etc).On a related side note, I was at a conference in Atlanta last week when a gentleman introduced the million dollar block concept. It'd be interesting to see what could happen if these sums were invested in communities, not spent on them.
Additionally, I'm curious if there have been any studies on the effect "enhanced cognitive load" on health and risk behaviors.
